Hossein Borojeni has made the fashion silhouette his signature: a free ink line, a few washes of colour, and the white of the paper left to the imagination. His style is often compared to that of René Gruau, Dior’s historic illustrator. He has been drawing live for luxury houses in Paris since 2016.

How long does each drawing take?
About 8 minutes for a colour fashion silhouette, under 5 minutes in monochrome, 15 minutes for a detailed portrait. For a 3-hour evening, expect between 15 and 40 drawings depending on the technique.

Yes. Based between Paris and Nice, Hossein Borojeni works across the French Riviera and Monaco, Switzerland and internationally.
